Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all tutoring services provided by TeAndrea Burnett Tutoring (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a session, submitting payment, or attending tutoring services, you (“Parent/Guardian”) agree to these Terms in full.

1. Services Provided

TeAndrea Burnett Tutoring provides in-person academic tutoring services for kindergarten through 3rd grade students in Troy, Alabama. Services include reading fluency, phonics instruction, math fluency, and related academic support. Tutoring services are supplemental and do not replace classroom instruction.

2. Eligibility & Parental Authority

All students must be enrolled by a legal parent or guardian. The enrolling parent/guardian represents and warrants that they have full legal authority to enroll the child, that all information provided is accurate, and that they are financially responsible for all booked sessions.

3. Session Structure

The Company reserves the right to adjust group composition to maintain appropriate instructional balance.

4. Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated in writing. Failure to submit payment may result in loss of the reserved time slot. The Company reserves the right to refuse service for unpaid balances.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session to qualify for rescheduling. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited. No-shows are non-refundable. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

6. Refund Policy

All sales are final unless otherwise required by law. If a session is canceled by the Company, a reschedule or credit will be offered.

7. Student Conduct

Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow instructional guidance. The Company reserves the right to remove a student from a session without refund if behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeAndrea Burnett Tutoring shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, academic outcomes beyond reasonable instructional effort, or loss of personal property brought to sessions. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the session in question.

9. Assumption of Risk

Parent/Guardian acknowledges that tutoring involves group interaction and minor physical classroom movement. By enrolling, Parent/Guardian assumes all ordinary risks associated with participation.

10. No Guarantee of Academic Results

While instruction is provided with professional care and experience, academic progress depends on multiple factors including student effort, school curriculum, and home reinforcement. No specific academic outcome is guaranteed.

11. Media & Educational Content

Educational materials or instructional videos may be shared. No student images or identifying information will be published without written parental consent.

12. Privacy

Personal information is used solely for scheduling, communication, and instructional purposes. The Company does not sell or distribute personal information.

13. Modification of Terms

The Company reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Alabama.
