Sight words are the high-frequency words students should recognize instantly. Pick a Dolch list by level and flip through the words on screen — tap Read aloud to hear each one, which is great for early readers and English learners. Or print the whole list as ready-to-cut flashcards.
Short, daily practice works best: review 5–10 words at a time, mix in words students already know to build confidence, and use the words in quick sentences. Pair this with phonics instruction so students decode what they can and memorize only the truly irregular words.
